AceTech's Electronics & Communication Engineering program trains students in the broad areas of communication, microelectronics and signal processing. It strives to contribute to the technological goals through quality teaching. The ECE department has an excellent team of faculty members and support staff members. Well-equipped laboratories cater to the needs of Pondicherry University's curriculum effectively. The Electronic Computer Aided Design laboratory has the latest software, like PSPICE and VHDL, which enable students to design and analyze electronic circuits in a creative manner. Frequent visits to industries and an all-India educational tour are a part of the program, giving students a wide exposure. All undergraduate students also undergo a 6-week industrial training program to gain vital practical and working knowledge. A degree in ECE opens up enormous job opportunities in electronics and software companies. It also gives great opportunities for research and development, as everyday consumers need new devices to support them in their daily life. .
